Check-ins and forms

Check-ins let you ask each client for the data you care about on a schedule you choose — body measurements, wellbeing scores, progress photos, or anything else.

Build a check-in

Go to Check-ins in the sidebar and click New check-in. Give it a name, then add groups and fields. Each field has a type:

  • Number (with a unit like kg or cm), Scale (e.g. 1–10), Yes / No, Date
  • Text / Long text for notes, Choice for a fixed set of options
  • Photo for progress pictures

Set Ask every N days at the top to make it recur, or leave it manual.

hi.fitness ships a Body Measurements template. Open it and choose Clone to my check-ins to get an editable copy.

The client survey

hi.fitness also ships a Client survey — the profile questionnaire every client fills once when they join (goals, health, lifestyle, training preferences). It's a permanent part of the app, so you can't delete or duplicate it, and there's only ever one. You can open it and edit the questions to fit how you work — your edited version then becomes the survey your clients see. It has no schedule: it shows On registration, and clients can update it any time.

Schedule it for clients

A check-in's cadence applies to all your clients by default. On a client's Check-ins tab you can:

  • Override how often that client gets it, or pause it for them
  • Assign an extra form to just that client
  • Record a check-in on the client's behalf — useful for in-person sessions

Review results

The client's Check-ins tab shows their submission history and automatically charts every numeric field over time. Open any submission to see all answers and photos.
