Your subscription
Updated on 2026-08-08
hi.fitness is a paid app. After you answer the intake questions you pick a plan, and everything in the app is then open to you: training plans and the workout tracker, the food diary with calories and macros, daily habits, your weekly plan, and progress reports.
Two plans, monthly and yearly. The yearly one is cheaper per month, and the exact prices are shown in your own currency on the plan screen - they come from the App Store, so what you see there is what you pay.
Where the payment happens
In the app, through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and the receipt, so hi.fitness never sees your card details.
That also means the App Store, not hi.fitness, is where you change or stop the subscription.
Restore a subscription on a new phone
Sign in with the same hi.fitness account, then on the plan screen tap Restore purchases.
Use the same Apple ID you bought with - a subscription belongs to the Apple ID that paid for it, so a different Apple ID has nothing to restore. If you have both, sign into the right one in your device settings first.
Redeem a code
On the plan screen tap Redeem a code, then Open the App Store sheet. Type the code into Apple's window. Your subscription starts as soon as the code is accepted, and hi.fitness opens straight away.
Codes are redeemed by Apple rather than by us, so they have to be entered in that window - there is no code field inside hi.fitness.
See when it renews
Go to More > Settings. The Subscription row shows your plan and the next renewal date. Tap it to open the App Store, where you can switch between monthly and yearly or cancel.
Cancel
- Open More > Settings and tap Subscription (or open Settings on your phone, tap your name, then Subscription).
- Choose hi.fitness and tap Cancel subscription.
You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, or the next period renews.
If a payment fails
Apple retries for a while, and hi.fitness keeps working during that time - you will see a note on the Subscription row telling you the payment did not go through. Updating your payment method in your Apple account settings is all that is needed. If the retries run out, the app asks you to pick a plan again; nothing you logged is lost.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription
These are two separate things, because the subscription lives with Apple and the account lives with us. Cancel the subscription in your App Store settings first, then delete the account - otherwise the renewals continue after your data is gone. See Deleting your account.
Trainers
If you coach clients on hi.fitness, your coach account does not need a subscription - the Subscription row says so. Paid plans for coaching are a separate thing and are not available yet.
