Coach notes
Updated on 2026-06-13
A coach note is a short message you leave for one client on a specific coaching section. Each section keeps its own note, so a training note and a nutrition note never mix. The client sees only the latest note, shown above that section.
Where to write one
Open the client, then the section tab. The note sits in a card above the plan. The card shows the note exactly as the client sees it - or, when there's none yet, a short prompt to add one. Click anywhere on the card to edit. While editing, an Unsaved changes marker appears until you save, Cancel discards your edits, and Remove note clears the text.
- Training program and Nutrition plan - the note is saved together with the plan. Click the card, write the note, and click Save note to apply it; then click Save changes in the save bar (the same Save you use for the plan) to store it. If you only change the note, the save bar still appears so you can save it on its own.
- Supplements and Check-ins - the note has its own Save note button. Write it and click save; it applies immediately.
While you're preparing a new plan
If you clicked Start new plan to build a draft, your notes join the draft too. A note you write or change during a draft stays private to you - the client keeps seeing their current note until you click Release. Releasing publishes the note along with the plan; Discard throws the draft note away and leaves the client's current note untouched.
Clearing a note
Open the card, click Remove note (or clear the text), then save. The client then sees no note for that section.
History
Every save is kept. The client (and, for now, you) always sees the latest one - earlier versions are stored and will be browsable in a later update.
