Execution

How to do it

  1. Begin standing with your body turned to the left side in a semi-lunge position, your left leg bent, and your right leg extended behind you lightly bent. Extend your right arm upward and your left arm downward to your side.

  2. Engage your core and rotate your body on your feet, turning to face the opposite side. As you rotate, lower your right arm and raise your left arm, so that your left arm is now upward and your right arm is downward to your side.

  3. Repeat the movement, alternating sides, and performing the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Focus on using a controlled motion when rotating your body to avoid straining your back.

  • Ensure you stay in place as you rotate, using a controlled motion to maintain balance and stability.

  • Ensure your movements are smooth and deliberate to maximize muscle activation and prevent injury.

  • Breathe steadily throughout the exercise, exhaling as you rotate and inhaling as you return to the starting position.
