How to do it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, keeping your posture upright. Raise your right arm overhead and allow your left hand to hang by your side.

  2. Gently lean your torso to the left, reaching your right arm over your head and feeling a stretch along the right side of your torso.

  3. Hold the stretch for 20-30 seconds, and slowly return to the starting position.

  4. Perform the stretch for the desired number of repetitions on each side.

Form tips

  • Ensure your shoulders remain relaxed and avoid tensing them up towards your ears.

  • Use a gentle motion to avoid over-stretching and potential muscle strain.

  • Gradually increase the depth of the stretch as your flexibility improves.
