How to do it

  1. Begin by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and knees slightly bent. Position yourself so that the end of a barbell, anchored in a landmine attachment or a secure corner, is between your feet.

  2. Bend at the hips and knees to lean forward and grab the barbell with both hands using a v handle.

  3. Pull the barbell towards your chest by squeezing your shoulder blades together and bending your elbows.

  4. Lower the barbell back to the starting position with control, fully extending your arms. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Exhale as you pull the barbell towards you and inhale as you lower it back.

  • Ensure your feet are firmly planted and your stance is stable.

  • Focus on squeezing your shoulder blades together to engage your middle back muscles.
