How to do it
Begin by standing in front of a corner of a wall with your feet shoulder-width apart. Place your palms flat against the walls at your sides, with your elbows slightly below shoulder height.
Lean forward into the corner, keeping your legs in place, to lean into the stretch.
Push your chest forward towards the corner, feeling the stretch across your chest and shoulders. Hold this position for the desired duration.
Slowly step back to return to the starting position and repeat the stretch as needed.
Form tips
Perform the stretch with control, gradually increasing the intensity as your muscles loosen.
Breathe deeply and steadily throughout the stretch, inhaling as you prepare and exhaling as you lean into the stretch.
Ensure your palms remain flat against the wall to maximize the stretch across your chest and shoulders.
Use a mat or soft surface for your feet if needed to prevent slipping during the stretch.
