How to do it
Stand in the center of a cable machine with the pulleys set at a high position. Grasp the handles with your palms facing forward and arms extended down out to your sides. Position your feet shoulder-width apart and slightly staggered for stability.
Stand upright with your back straight. Bring the handles together in front of your body in a wide arc, keeping a slight bend in your elbows and palms should face upwards.
Slowly return the handles to the starting position with control, maintaining the slight bend in your elbows.
Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Form tips
Focus on the contraction of your chest muscles as you bring the handles together.
Perform the movement slowly and with control to maximize muscle activation and reduce the risk of injury.
Exhale as you bring the handles together and inhale as you return them to the starting position.
