Execution

How to do it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell with an overhand grip in front of your thighs. Your hands should be shoulder-width apart.

  2. Lift the barbell in front of you with straight arms until it reaches shoulder height.

  3. Lower the barbell back to the starting position with control, keeping your arms straight. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Maintain a slight bend in your elbows to reduce strain on the joints.

  • Lift with your shoulders rather than swinging your body to ensure proper muscle engagement.

  • Keep your core tight to support your lower back and maintain proper posture.
