How to do it

  1. Begin in a standard push-up position with your hands placed slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, your body forming a straight line from head to heels.

  2. Lower your body into a push-up, bending both arms but leaning more to the right side, bringing your chest closer to your right hand.

  3. Push through both hands to return to the starting position.

  4. Lower your body into a push-up again, this time leaning more to the left side, bringing your chest closer to your left hand. Continue alternating sides with each push-up for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Breathe steadily, exhaling as you lower your chest and inhaling as you push back up.

  • Ensure your hands are placed firmly on the floor to provide stability during the exercise.

  • Focus on using your chest and triceps muscles to push back up to the starting position.
