How to do it

  1. Begin in a plank position with your hands directly under your shoulders and your body forming a straight line from head to heels.

  2. Lift your right hand off the floor and tap your left shoulder, keeping your hips stable and minimizing rotation.

  3. Return your right hand to the starting position.

  4. Repeat the movement with your left hand, lifting it off the floor and tapping your right shoulder. Alternate sides for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Keep your hips level throughout the movement to maintain proper form and avoid rotating your torso.

  • Perform the exercise on a stable, non-slip surface to prevent slipping and ensure safety.

  • Keep your shoulders directly over your wrists to maintain alignment and reduce strain on your shoulders.
