How to do it
Stand in the center of a cable machine with the pulleys set at the lowest position. Grasp the handles with each hand, palms facing up, and take a step forward to create tension in the cables.
Lean lightly forward and position your feet shoulder-width apart, keeping your back straight and your arms extended slightly behind you.
Raise the handles up and together in a wide arc, bringing them to meet above your head, while keeping a slight bend in your elbows.
Slowly lower your arms back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Form tips
Keep your back straight and avoid using momentum.
Focus on squeezing your shoulder muscles at the top of the movement.
Exhale as you raise the handles and inhale as you lower them back down.
