Execution
How to do it
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in your right hand with a neutral grip. Extend your right arm straight down at your side. Your left hand should be on your hip for support.
Raise the dumbbell diagonally across your body towards your left shoulder, keeping your arm straight and maintaining a slight bend in your elbow.
Hold the position briefly at the top, ensuring the dumbbell reaches shoulder height.
Lower the dumbbell back to the starting position, keeping your movements slow and steady. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch to the left arm.
Form tips
Exhale as you raise the dumbbell and inhale as you lower it.
Avoid using momentum; focus on controlled movements.
Keep a slight bend in your elbow to reduce strain on your joints.
