How to do it
Lie on an incline bench set at a 45-degree angle with a dumbbell in each hand, arms straight, and palms facing down just over your thighs.
Raise both dumbbells in front of you, keeping your arms straight, until they reach opposite your chest.
Hold the position for a second, then slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position with control.
Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining a steady and controlled motion.
Form tips
Avoid using momentum; focus on using your shoulder muscles to lift the weights.
Engage your core to stabilize your body and prevent arching of the back.
Exhale as you lift the dumbbells and inhale as you lower them.
