Execution

How to do it

  1. Stand facing the cable machine with your feet shoulder-width apart, keeping your back straight and knees slightly bent.

  2. Grasp the v bar attached to the high pulley with both hands, palms facing down, and place your hands wider than shoulder-width apart. Bend your elbows at a 90-degree angle, keeping your elbows close to your body.

  3. Push the v bar down towards your thighs by straightening your elbows, keeping your upper arms stationary.

  4. Slowly return to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Keep your elbows close to your body and avoid moving your upper arms.

  • Focus on squeezing your triceps at the bottom of the movement.

  • Exhale as you push the v bar down and inhale as you return to the starting position.
