Execution

How to do it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding an EZ bar with an overhand grip. Raise the bar overhead until your arms are fully extended, with your hands positioned closer together on the bar.

  2. Keep your elbows close to your head and slowly lower the bar behind your head by bending your elbows.

  3. Lower the bar until your arms are fully bent.

  4. Extend your elbows to raise the bar back to the starting position, fully extending your arms overhead.

Form tips

  • Ensure your elbows remain close to your head throughout the movement to effectively target the triceps.

  • Use a controlled motion and avoid swinging the bar or using momentum.

  • Avoid locking your elbows at the top of the movement to maintain tension on the triceps.
