How to do it

  1. Set up a barbell in a landmine attachment or securely place one end of the barbell in a corner. Stand to the side of the barbell with your feet shoulder-width apart, barbell extending behind. Bend at the hips and knees, keeping your back straight, and grip the barbell with your hand.

  2. Start with your arm fully extended, allowing the barbell to hang straight down.

  3. Pull the barbell towards your side by bending your elbow and squeezing your back at the peak of the movement.

  4. Slowly lower the barbell back to the starting position, fully extending your arm. Repeat the movement for the desired repetitions.

Form tips

  • Maintain a neutral spine throughout the exercise to avoid straining your lower back.

  • Engage your core to help stabilize your body and prevent unnecessary movement.

  • Use a controlled motion to lift and lower the barbell, preventing any jerking movements.
