How to do it

  1. Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart and arms at your sides.

  2. Bring both arms behind your back. Set your forearms parallel to the floor, crossing one over the other to stretch your shoulders.

  3. Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds, feeling the stretch in your shoulders. Return to the starting position and repeat as needed.

Form tips

  • Keep your shoulders down and away from your ears to avoid unnecessary tension in your neck.

  • Use gentle pressure when crossing your arms behind your back to deepen the stretch gradually.

  • Ensure your upper body is relaxed and avoid forcing the stretch to prevent discomfort or injury.
