How to do it

  1. Begin by placing a sturdy chair against a wall for stability. Position yourself in front of the chair, with your back facing it.

  2. Place your hands on the floor slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, about a foot away from the chair. Kick up into a handstand position, with your feet resting on the seat of the chair.

  3. Slowly lower your head towards the floor by bending your elbows, keeping your body straight and your core engaged.

  4. Push through your hands to extend your arms and return to the starting handstand position. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Engage your core throughout the exercise to maintain stability and prevent arching your back.

  • Keep your movements slow and controlled to maximize muscle engagement and prevent injury.

  • Focus on steady breathing, exhaling as you push up and inhaling as you lower down.
