How to do it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your back straight. Raise one arm to shoulder height and bring it across your chest.

  2. Use your opposite hand to grasp your upper arm and gently pull it towards your chest, stretching your shoulder.

  3. Hold the stretch in this position.

  4. Release your arm and repeat the movement on the other side.

Form tips

  • Keep your shoulders relaxed and avoid hunching them up towards your ears.

  • Breathe deeply and steadily throughout the stretch to help relax your muscles.

  • Maintain a straight back and avoid twisting your torso to ensure proper form.
