How to do it

  1. Sit on the floor with your legs extended straight in front of you and your arms placed on the floor slightly behind you for support.

  2. Engage your core and lift your torso off the floor, bringing your knees towards your chest to form a V shape with your body.

  3. Hold the top position for a moment, squeezing your abdominal muscles.

  4. Lower your legs and torso back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Breathe steadily, exhaling as you lift into the V position and inhaling as you lower back down.

  • Avoid using momentum to lift your legs and torso; focus on using your abdominal muscles.

  • Keep your back straight and avoid rounding your shoulders to maintain proper form.
