Execution

How to do it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand with your arms fully extended and palms facing your body.

  2. Pull the dumbbells up towards your armpits by bending your elbows. Your elbows should be pointing out to the sides.

  3. Lower the dumbbells back to the starting position in a controlled manner. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Keep your back straight and avoid rounding your shoulders during the exercise.

  • Maintain a slight bend in your knees to reduce strain on your lower back.

  • Breathe out as you lift the dumbbells and breathe in as you lower them.
