How to do it

  1. Begin by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart, arms bent at 90 degrees, and your elbows open wide at shoulder height.

  2. Step your right foot out to the side, bending your right knee slightly as you bring your elbows together in front of you until they are close together and back.

  3. Return to the starting position by stepping your left foot out to the side while repeating the fly motion with your arms.

  4. Repeat the movement alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Perform the movement slowly and with control to maximize muscle activation and prevent injury.

  • Ensure your arms remain bent at the elbows throughout the chest fly motion.

  • Focus on squeezing your chest muscles as you bring your elbows together in front of you.
