How to do it

  1. Stand in the center of a cable machine with the pulleys set at the highest position. Grasp the handles with both hands, palms facing upward. Extend your arms out to the sides at shoulder height, almost parallel to the floor.

  2. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, keeping your back straight and elbows slightly bent.

  3. Curl the handles towards your head by bending your elbows, keeping your upper arms stationary.

  4. Slowly extend your arms back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Exhale as you curl the handles towards your head and inhale as you extend them back.

  • Keep your elbows stationary and at shoulder height throughout the exercise.

  • Focus on squeezing your biceps at the top of the movement.
