How to do it

  1. Lie on an incline bench set at a 45-degree angle. Place the resistance band under the bench and hold one handle of the band in each hand with your palms facing each other, positioning your hands at chest height.

  2. Press the handles upward until your arms are fully extended, keeping the band aligned over your chest.

  3. Slowly lower the handles back to shoulder height with control, maintaining tension in the band.

  4. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Ensure the resistance band is securely anchored under the bench to avoid slipping.

  • Exhale as you press the band handles upward and inhale as you lower them back down.

  • Avoid letting your elbows flare out excessively to protect your shoulder joints.
