How to do it

  1. Adjust the suspension trainer handles to about waist height. Stand facing the anchor point with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding the handles with a neutral grip (palms facing each other).

  2. Lean back, extending your arms fully while keeping your body in a straight line from head to heels.

  3. Pull your chest towards the handles by bending your elbows and squeezing your shoulder blades together.

  4. Slowly extend your arms back to the starting position. Repeat for the desired repetitions.

Form tips

  • Keep your core tight to maintain a straight body line and avoid sagging your hips.

  • Adjust the length of the suspension trainer straps to increase or decrease the difficulty of the exercise.

  • Breathe steadily: exhale as you pull your chest towards the handles and inhale as you extend your arms back.
