How to do it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and place a loop resistance band around your thighs, just above your knees. Keep your chest up and bring both hands close to your chest.

  2. Lower your body into a squat position by bending your knees and pushing your hips back as if you are sitting in a chair.

  3. Push through your heels to stand back up to the starting position, keeping the resistance band taut.

  4. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Keep your chest up and lean slightly forward to maintain proper form.

  • Ensure your knees stay in line with your toes and do not collapse inward.

  • Exhale as you stand up and inhale as you lower into the squat.
