How to do it

  1. Begin in a forearm plank position with your elbows directly under your shoulders and your body forming an arch line from your head to your heels.

  2. Push through your forearms to lift your elbows a few inches off the floor, keeping your fists on the floor.

  3. Keep pressing through your forearms to raise your hips off the floor until your torso is straight, maintaining the plank position.

  4. Lower your hips back down to the floor, followed by your elbows, returning to the starting position. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Perform the exercise on a non-slip surface to prevent your forearms from slipping.

  • Ensure your elbows remain under your shoulders to maintain proper form and prevent strain.

  • Move slowly and with control to maximize muscle engagement and prevent injury.
