How to do it
Stand on a step platform with your heels hanging off the edge, holding a dumbbell in each hand at your sides. Position your feet hip-width apart.
Slowly raise your heels as high as possible by pushing through your forefeet, lifting your body upward.
Hold the top position for a brief moment, feeling the contraction in your calf muscles.
Lower your heels below the edge of the step, feeling a stretch in your calves. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
