Execution

How to do it

  1. Adjust the suspension trainer handles to about chest height. Stand facing the handles with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding the handles with your arms extended straight in front of you and palms facing each other.

  2. Engage your core and lean back slightly, keeping your body straight from head to heels.

  3. Pull the handles towards your face, bending your elbows and flaring them out to the sides until your hands are at face level.

  4. Slowly extend your arms back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Breathe steadily: exhale as you pull the handles towards your face and inhale as you return to the starting position.

  • Focus on using your upper back and shoulder muscles to perform the pull, avoiding excessive use of your arms.

  • Keep your shoulders relaxed and avoid shrugging them towards your ears.
