How to do it

  1. Sit on the floor with your legs extended straight out in front of you, forming an L-shape with your torso.

  2. Place your hands behind your head without pulling on your neck, elbows facing outwards.

  3. Engage your core and bend your torso towards your thighs, performing a crunch while keeping your legs straight.

  4. Bring your torso back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Avoid pulling on your neck with your hands; use your abdominal muscles to lower your torso.

  • Breathe steadily, exhaling as you lift your torso and inhaling as you lower it back down.

  • Keep your legs straight and flat on the floor to maintain stability during the exercise.
