Execution
How to do it
Begin by lying flat on your back with your arms and legs extended in a starfish position. Hold a dumbbell in your right hand and keep the left hand firm on the floor.
Engage your core and lift your left leg and right arm simultaneously, aiming to touch the dumbbell to your left foot.
Reach as high as possible, squeezing your abdominal muscles at the top of the movement.
Lower your arm and leg back to the starting position in a controlled manner. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch to holding the dumbbell in your left hand and raising your right leg.
Form tips
Ensure your movements are slow and controlled to maximize muscle engagement.
Keep your non-working arm and leg extended on the floor for balance.
Focus on using your abs to lift your arm and leg, not your neck or shoulders.
