How to do it

  1. Stand facing a wall with your feet hip-width apart. Place your hands on the wall at shoulder height for support.

  2. Position your feet flat on the floor, ensuring they are parallel to each other.

  3. Slowly raise your heels as high as possible, lifting your body and engaging your calf muscles.

  4. Lower your heels back to the floor in a controlled manner. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Focus on lifting your heels fully and pausing briefly at the top of the movement to maximize muscle activation.

  • Use the wall for balance but ensure your legs are doing the work.

  • Keep your knees slightly bent to reduce strain on your joints.
