# Sign in with Google

You can sign in or sign up with your Google account instead of typing an email and password. Look for the **Continue with Google** button on the sign-in and sign-up pages.

## Signing up with Google

1. On the sign-in or sign-up page, click **Continue with Google**.
2. Choose the Google account you want to use and approve the request.
3. That's it - you're in. We create your hi.fitness account from your Google name and email, and your email is already verified, so there's nothing else to confirm.

New Google accounts start as a regular trainee account. No password is set - you sign in with Google each time.

## Already have an email/password account?

If your Google email matches an account you created with a password, we ask you to confirm that password once, so we know the account is yours:

1. Click **Continue with Google** and pick your account.
2. We'll show a short prompt: enter the password for your existing hi.fitness account.
3. After that, Google is linked to your account. Next time, **Continue with Google** signs you straight in.

## Troubleshooting

- **"Incorrect password" when linking** - that's the password for your existing hi.fitness account, not your Google password. Forgot it? Use **Forgot password?** on the sign-in page to reset it, then try again.
- **Don't see the Google button?** Google sign-in may not be enabled on your installation. You can always sign in with your email and password.
